beat this guy...i dare ya

Recommended Posts

this is so fake, just paste the video from the mirror with one that goes X times faster and play the normal background video. No way anyone could ever check if its the same.

All the guy had to do was start the same when "we" could follow and try to tick about the same rythm as the arrows on the screen are appearing.

Its easy to make, nice vid though wink.gif

I should point out that the mirror there is blocking the display of the settings at the bottom of the screen. Usually in the bottom center of the screen the speed of the notes, the modified speed of the song and any other special conditions that the player has set will be displayed.

I play stepmania (ok stfu all of you), I can perfect combo that song on 1.2x speed, A it on 1.3x and C it on 1.4x. No, I don't play this song addictively, it's NOT that difficult on 1.0x speed and I don't particularly like messing with the speed of songs. Besides, there are better songs out there with more variation in the beat and steps rather than a boring single step stream.

My best friend irl has a few similar difficulty songs like that, that he plays on 1.5-1.6 speed, it just takes alot of time wasted playing the same damn song over and over until you learn the steps and rhythem...which is fkn boring.

I conclude that while it's possible, it's bloody unlikely to have done the song on 1.5x speed and AAA'd it. The fact that the guy was stupid enough to leave the mirror where it blocks the display of the speed setting is just further proof imo, although it would explain why he was stupid enough to waste enough time playing the same song over and over to perfect it to that extent.

uni some people find that higher speed (1.5x, etc) easier since it separates the arrows more

Ah, when I said speed, I meant RATE (how fast you increase the song speed, not the speed of the notes ascending). I play everything on C200 anyway.
