Imo these forums are the most inactive ones i'v seen.

You might say that the forums reflect upon the zone, but even the zone isnt THIS inactive.

 

Thus. Isnt it possible to advertise for the forums in the zone? at the homepage (if u got one)? And mst important tell your friends/squaddies that play to get a user and check it out.

 

Well, im sure some of you guys (one of the 5 ppl that post here) got some other suggestions aswell.

this message board is meant for announcements/suggestions/debates/strategies/etc.

 

If people want to have pointless social convos, they can do so in the zone. Whatever it is that you guys are doing to attempt to revive this message board can be done in the game, and would save people time from reading threads that don't go anywhere. I say you're hurting it more than helping.

I disagree with you kriz.

 

Ppl play this game for more reasons that just the accual playing.

They also chat with ppl, its somewhat of an community. And the forums is a part of that community.

 

A good and active forum helps the zone imo.

I got an idea to save the zone: Make ship sets, odd freqs play on certain ships, even freqs play with the other ships. Or if you don't like that idea here is another: make the map bigger! Or give us flag upgrades. Or better yet, disable priv freqs.

 

Now that I'm being serious, the only way to increase the population of this zone is to for everyone to do their best to keep noobies in this zone. Albeit this may seem hard because many noobs run like hell after being killed a couple of times and go to TW, DSB, EG, etc., a few may be willing to stay. Help those willing to learn: give them the commands, tell them what to do and what not to do, invite them on you freq when flagging (if for nothing more than cannon fodder). Refrain from using EZ and other such insults. Many of us has accepted the insults as a part of our progession as a pilot, but I think the majority just see us as a bunch of asses. Finally, invite every person you can to come play, maybe a few will have what it takes to stay.

 

Being this is a little of topic, and in an effort to keep this thread as short as possible, I'll respond for some of you. STFU Noobie. This zone is dead, why bother. WTF do you know??

Forgive the double post but community is important too, and no doubt the forums are a part of that. Not sure how the SWZ<DSB debate, and similar posts help build the community though. No offense to Danger, but trying to piss off members of SWZ isn't exactly the best way to broaden the community. That being said, glad your here, like to see more squads from other zones playing here.
